Fiction: Mysteries

A word on my age designations:
— I list no upper age limits because well-written books appeal to readers far beyond ages typically listed for children’s books.
— Children vary enormously in what they enjoy, appreciate, and are able to digest. Use your judgement and check my reviews for more specific recommendations.

Hint: Many of these books have sequels by now. If you like one, check your library for more by the same author.
